Summer Concert 2022

For everything there is a first time - and this concert felt a bit like one!
In fact, our first own concert was already five years ago. But after a forced break of two and a half years, the spotlight in the TUM Audimax felt somehow "new" and unfamiliar. Finally, we were once again the center of attention of the evening. Our "Neustart Jahreskonzert" was a complete success!

We would like to thank our guests, the Big Band of the Munich University of Applied Sciences, many volunteers and the approximately 600 spectators who had come to the Audimax of the TUM on Sunday, July 3, 2022. After two years without barely any cultural events and on such a beautiful summer day, that big of an audience was nothing to be expected for us!

The HM Big Band opened the concert with solid swing. There was nothing to be felt of "Unexcellence" here – if you take possible animosities of Munich's technical colleges with a wink of the eye, you will happily confirm this. Particularly memorable remain Bastian Pusch's moderations. The leader of the HM Big Band always managed to lighten the mood with his humorous interludes.

After the break, it was time for our set. The audience was fully present from the first piece. What can we say... it was a pleasure! And towards the end it almost felt like as familiar as before! One again, we would like to thank our longtime 1st chairman Sebastian Weiß, whose time at TUM and also with us came to an end with this concert. Of course we celebrated his farewell appropriately. With the exception of a tooth, no damage occurred during the celebration. Thus, nothing will hold us back for our future concerts!
